The interdisciplinary Themes (below), are supported by Theme Champions drawn from each of the Faculties and recommended by the Steering Group. The Themes provide a focus for funding opportunities and align very closely with the four Grand Challenges elaborated by the EPSRC Healthcare Technologies initiative and also with the NHS Five-Year Forward View.
