Lucy Tiplady is a Research Associate in the Research Centre for Learning and Teaching.
Lucy joined Newcastle University as a researcher after completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Newcastle University and BA (hons) English Studies at the University of Nottingham.
As a researcher within the Research Centre for Learning and Teaching (CfLaT), Lucy has worked on 15 externally funded projects, three as Principal Investigator and 12 as team member. Lucy has developed a wealth of experience in project management, research design, literature reviews, qualitative, quantitative and visual research methods, data analysis and reporting research.
Working collaboratively with schools and the wider education community has led to a keen interest in how research methods can be used as tools for enquiry to aid teacher and pupil learning and how visual methods can be used to mediate and enhance interviews.
