I am very keen on gaining experience within the Institute of Neuroscience as I hope to go on to do post-graduate study in a field neuroscience, in the future. Currently, I do not have much practical experience and I see this research experience as a huge stepping stone towards further opportunities. Not only will the research experience build on my knowledge from my degree course, but it will help me gain a range of new skills and knowledge. I hope that I will expand my skills in research techniques, analytical methodologies and presentational styles. I will enjoy the experience of working in a team of neuroscience professionals in a research environment over an extended period of time. I hope to learn from the other team members and deepen my knowledge in an area that is of particular interest to me.
