  • A student partner approach for strategic design and evidence-based evaluation of a novel ORDER artistic learning process for skill development in interpretation of clinical imaging

This research project aims to identify if the artistic learning process of ORDER (observe-reflect-draw-edit-repeat) can enhance skills in clinical imaging interpretation. The method of ORDER is intended to allow students to gradually develop and reinforce the skills necessary for learning anatomy. Previous findings indicate that ORDER is valuable for surface anatomy learning.  Results from a study to be conducted on 25 graduate entry Accelerated MBBS students will be used to evaluate if ORDER can also be applied to the context of clinical imaging interpretation. A future study will be designed to evaluate ORDER in clinical imaging interpretation within lectures and self-study settings.
