I will investigate the effect of gender and attractiveness of eyes on pro-social behaviour. I will carry out my investigations in collaboration with Tyne and Wear Museums, recording donations and questionnaire responses, as well as noting behavioural observations. Investigating this topic would be of interest due the possibility of finding different results for male and female participants when feeling watched. Perhaps opposite gender eyes will elicit a stronger response due to the desire to appeal to the opposite sex, although previous negative encounters may have the opposite effect.
