This Project is aimed at using fully motorised microscopes to quantitatively evaluate a range of neuropathological lesions from cases of brain bank material, The results should lead to better understanding of the best approach for evaluating the effect of different pathological lesions on clinical dementia. It should also lead to a better understanding of age-associated cerebral multimorbidity and will be helpful in formulating novel targeted therapeutic strategies against dementia.
