Time based media can simultaneously reflect new visual, philosophical and poetical approaches to time and change our perception of the spatial and temporal.

Since the late 1950s an increasing number of works of art deal with the relevance of time, but the emergence of video changed it all. This lecture explores questions about the nature of time and the way it is perceived in modern culture.
