Jason Dee

Jason Dee is currently undertaking a practice-led Fine Art PhD at Newcastle University. His work focuses on the complex shifts in perception formed when analogue films are transferred to digital media. He has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the world, and has also been included in numerous film and media festivals, including Transmediale (Berlin) and Rencontres Internationals (Berlin, Paris, Madrid).

Dee recently exhibited a large-scale installation commissioned by Berwick Film Festival 2012. A number of his works are featured in the current edition of Aspect- The Chronicle of New Media.
