Dr John Wedgwood Clarke

Dr John Wedgwood Clarke is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter and currently an AHRC Leadership Fellow working on a practiced-based creative writing project about the Red River in West Cornwall (www.redriverpoetry.com). His poetry has been published widely, in The New Statesman, Poetry Review, Poetry Ireland and other national and international journals, and won or been shortlisted for a number of international awards. He has been a Leverhulme Artist in Residence, and regularly collaborates with scientists, academics and other artists on interdisciplinary projects. His poetry collections include Ghost Pot (2013) and Landfill (2017). TV credits include presenting The Books that Made Britain (2016) and Through the Lens of Larkin (2017), both for BBC4.
