September 2019 - Demonstration at ORE Catapult Blyth for ORCA Hub

The USMART team visited the Blyth Catapult, ORCA Hub site with three key aims; i) to localize the sensor nodes using Silent Localization scheme, ii) gather data from sensor nodes to a centralized gateway, and iii) display all the information onto a user-friendly Dashboard. For the demonstration, we had deployed 11 nodes (3 Anchor nodes on the surface and 8 Sensor nodes at the depth of 2-3 meters) in a tank with concrete walls of size 20m  x 75m x 7m.  We conducted a live demo in front of an invited audience from different industries related to subsea technologies and oil & gas industries.
