Susana is a Senior Hydro-meteorologist at Rain++. She's a civil engineer specialising in urban hydrology, with over 10 years’ combined experience in academia and industry. Her main areas of expertise include rainfall monitoring and modelling, urban drainage modelling, data analytics and stakeholder engagement in urban water management. In her current role she’s responsible for the development and commercialisation of tools for hydrometeorological data processing, analysis and enhancement, as well as for project work ranging from sewer analytics to weather insurance product design.

Susana also has a keen interest and track record in applied research, science communication and academia-industry nexus management.
