Sachit’s research interests lie in the area of Ubiquitous Computing and its intersection with Environment Sensing and Data Science. He is interested in finding data driven solutions to address societal challenges that are related to real-world economically and socially important problems. His research addresses some important interfaces between technology, environment and society.

Before joining ETH Zurich, he worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Sociology at University of Cambridge, where he worked on AirKit (ERC funded project) and as a Research Fellow at GCARE Lab, University of Surrey where he worked on iSCAPE (Horizon 2020).

He was a TIGP Fellow at Academia Sinica (Taiwan) from 2015-2019 and received his PhD in Social Networks and Human Centered Computing.
