Eleanor has a combined background in the academia, industry and charity sectors. She has specialised in hydrology, flood risk management, hydrometric monitoring, modelling, community/stakeholder involvement and nature-based methods inside and outside academia for over ten years. Eleanor’s PhD enabled her to explore the feasibility, reliability, value and sustainability of citizen science in catchment science. 

Eleanor is particularly passionate about cross-disciplinary and participatory projects, and values input from non-academic stakeholders to ensure environmental projects are meaningful and relevant to people on the ground.
