UK AquaBase is underway
Work has started to put together the visual database mapping the UK aquauculture sector. This database will collate the different stakeholders in UK aquaculture and once completed will be made available online, to facilitate links and finding partners. You will be able to search for specific keyworks and people and see how they map in the sector and who are they linked with. This is a slow-burning project, now on the phase of data collection. It is expected to be completed late 2018, and is being developed by Dr Sofia C. Franco in collaboration with the Open Lab at Newcastle University. Watch this space for updates!
