The UK Aquaculture Knowledge Exchange Programme focuses on supporting collaborations within the UK aquaculture sector, helping translate research to generate impact and increase public understanding of aquaculture.

This website aims to be a gateway UK aquaculture, showcasing the sector, discussing its challenges and supporting knowledge exchange between businesses and researchers. It serves as a reference for finding partners, funding and collaboration opportunities, as well as consider ways to better showcase research or develop public engagement with aquaculture.  It is funded by BBSRC-NERC within the UK Aquaculture Initiative and is led by Dr Sofia C. Franco (Newcastle University).
