Contemporary ‘authenticity’ in the artist’s studio museum

Our third online Meet-Up (16 July 2024) was co-hosted with project partner 'Artists Studio Museum Network’ and focused on the theme of “Authenticity”. The event heard from international panellists who discussed: How can artist’s studio / house museums maintain the integrity and historical context of their spaces while engaging with contemporary artists. Our speakers were: Kate Menconeri, Chief Curator, Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill, USA, and Gaia Giacomelli Curatorial Assistant for the Jenks Foundation at the Cosmic House in London, UK.
