All calls are open to internationally recognised researchers. The scope will focus on thermal systems and cover heat decarbonisation. Relevant topics include (but not limited to) waste heat utilisation; industrial energy, materials and products; renewable heating and cooling systems; building energy performance; control, modelling and optimisation; thermal networks; thermal storage; carbon capture, utilisation and storage; energy efficiency; environmental assessment on thermal systems; economics and policy challenges; and any other relevant topics. In conjunction with SusTEM2019, the Network is organising a post-conference special issues with Elsevier journal, Applied Energy (IF: 7.900, post-SusTEM2019 submissions, up to 20 article publications).
By submitting an abstract for consideration, authors agree to
(i) prepare a full-length conference manuscript
(ii) register with a payment (by at least one of the authors) and
(iii) deliver an oral presentation during SusTEM2019,
if the submission is accepted for SusTEM2019.
All conference delegates are only allowed to represent one submission. Abstracts received by Wednesday, 2 January 2019 (i.e. deadline set for the second call) will be considered for oral presentation at SusTEM2019. The 200-word abstract with a provisional manuscript title should be submitted via email too.
