John Chew is a Professor and Director of Learning and Teaching in Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath. Prof John Chew has a BCom (Accounting) and BEng Hons (Chemical and Process Engineering) from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and worked at Cambridge as a Research Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering before joining Bath in 2010.  John's research interests lie in the two areas of “Green cleaning for removal of fouled process surfaces” and “Computational Fluid Dynamics”, with particular applications in the food and biotechnology industries.
