In time you will contribute In time your voice will count But until then you need to trust Your views we will not flout There is a time to deliberate And a time for taking stock But until then, leave it up to us To carve opinion from the block For what is truth if it is not true, What is a fact if it is not seen? To write the map once we’ve walked The path and recorded where we’ve been? Then take your feet and place them Where ours have already tread And say we asked you what you thought Once it’s all been put to bed.
