Social Justice North East aims to improve understanding of social injustice in the north east of England. We work with partners in the voluntary and community sector to design and conduct research that informs policy, practice and campaigning. We are interested in all aspects of social, political, economic and environmental injustice and disadvantage. We conduct research on the nature and causes of injustice and the effectiveness of public and voluntary sector responses to tackle injustice and promote the well-being of people in the north east of England. We aim to produce research that is academically rigorous and directly relevant to our partners in the voluntary and community sector.
