Diane Richardson (Principal Investigator)

Diane is a well established scholar in the fields of gender and sexuality, especially the areas of sexual citizenship, sexual identity, and heterosexuality. She has led numerous research projects, including a recent project on Sexuality and Citizenship funded by a Leverhulme Trust Major Research Fellowship. . She is currently Professor of Sociology at Newcastle University.

Surya Monro (Co-Applicant)

Surya Monro has published substantially in the fields of gender and sexuality, notably on the topic of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equalities. She has a particular interest in issues of intersectionality, governance and democracy, and citizenship. She is currently a Professor in Sociology and Social Policy based at Huddersfield University, UK.

Ann McNulty (Research Associate)

Ann brought experience of working at operational and strategic levels in statutory and voluntary sector organisations, in the areas of community action and involvement in service/practice developments. Ann had researched in the areas of gender and sexuality.
