Francesco Pericci

Francesco is a founding member, president and coordinator of the geophysics activities of ArcheoTech&Survey LTD, the leading spinoff company on Cultural Heritage of the University of Siena.

After graduating at the University of Siena with a thesis on landscape archaeology, he gained a PhD at the same University with a multidisciplinary and multiscale remote sensing in archaeology project.

He has carried out research in the laboratory led by prof. Stefano Campana since 2001 and since 2003 has been working on magnetometer surveys and aerial photo. He is also a certified UAV pilot for critical operation.

He directed fieldwork research for the development of the archaeological map of Monteroni d’Arbia and Trequanda landscape (Italy) and has worked at important projects, such as the “Grande Progetto Pompei”, the “Phaistos project“ and ERC funded projects.
