A new book on the history and the archaeology of the Archbasilica of St John Lateran, co-edited by two of Rome Transformed team members, Ian Haynes and Paolo Liverani, is now out by Cambridge University Press. The book, extensively covers not only the history and archaeology of one of Rome Transformed research areas, the Lateran quarter (Area 1) but also provides insight into the methodology applied to the research and firstly trialled and tested at the Lateran basilica.
