Bio

Lama is currently pursuing her Phd in Computing with a specialization in data visualization at Newcastle University. She has an MSc in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science from University College Dublin, Ireland.

Research

Lama is interested mainly in data science. She worked during her master's degree on many projects within the field. Her graduation project was about analyzing London's air data, predicting pollution for the next years using ML algorithms, and visualizing the sustainability of the city. Her research area during the PhD is focusing on visualizing and analyzing complex genomics/multi-omics data for children's cancer patients.
