• Kenan was a PhD student at Newcastle University 2018-2022, researching Information visualization approaches to form balanced groups.

Kenan started his PhD at the School of Computing, Newcastle University, in April 2018. He defended his thesis, titled "Information Visualization Approaches to Form Balanced Groups", in 2022. Within his project he combined visualization and data mining approaches to support visually guided semi-automated exploration of clusters and forming of balanced groups. As part of his research he designed the PeaGlyph visualization.
