ReFINE Research on spills and leaks

This research paper by ReFINE investigates the likelihood of spills and leaks occurring both on the well site and during fluid transportation to and from the well site.

The paper, led by Sarah Clancy and published in the journal Science of the Total Environment, concludes that a spill onsite will likely occur for every 16 well pads developed.
