Dr Clare Bond
Talk Title: That’s why it’s called interpretation: uncertainty in subsurface models
Clare is a structural geologist with interests in interpretational uncertainty and structural modelling. Having worked across a range of sectors from conservation and policy, to technical consulting, Clare is now an academic at the University of Aberdeen. Her current projects include seismic interpretation, fracture modelling and fluid flow and the use of photogrammetry to create and interpret virtual outcrop models. Clare is currently the Chair of the Tectonic Studies Group of the Geological Society of London and co-director of the Fold-Thrust Research Group. She was Aberdeen University’s lead on the ACT Acorn project and works as part of ClimateXChange.
