Eric Siqueiros Valencia

Eric is a PhD student at Newcastle University where he is currently in the second year of his research in “Thermal and waste Management in the Food Industries”. Previously he worked during 5 years as a process engineer for a Flavours processing company. The production areas include processes such as Spray Drying, Distillation/Concentration of essential oils, Emulsions and Powder Blends. Among the main activities he developed were: Process Optimization, scale-up and pilot of new products, new processing technologies, rejected batch salvaging and manufacturing instruction processing. While working in the industry he began a Master´s degree in Engineering on Energy Efficient Use which was later applied in the company.
