The RAINDROP (Resource Allocation in NHS Dentistry: Recognition of societal Preference) Study is a NIHR Funded research project working with dental commissioners in NHS England to embed economics based tools in their priority setting activities, studying how commissioners adopt these tools.
This site was established to help collaborators and research participants find out more about the project's objectives, outputs and activities.
We are now over two years into this four year project with some really interesting findings, and hopefully many more to come!
To find out more about the research, such as why incorporating societal preference into resource allocation is important (and what it means) and how we plan on doing this take a look at our 'Background' and 'Aims and Methods' pages.
