Promoting Local Access to Children's Early Language and Communication Support - PLACES

This study running between January 2024 and December 2026, was funded by NIHR Health and Social Care Delivery Research Programme.

The study was designed in response to a call from NIHR to develop methods to improve access and use of services for people with speech, language and communication needs with the aim of reducing health inequalities for this group.

PLACES focuses on children with and at risk of speech, language and communication needs aged 0-3 years.
