Abigail Seddon

Abigail is currently aiming to develop and synthesise noval polyoxometalate (POM) structures for application within energy materials with minimal environmental impact by combining materials synthesis using sustainable approaches with solar cell assembly and testing. She previously obtained her MChem at Newcastle University in the p-type group, working on characterisation of dye-sensitised photocathodes for water-splitting (artificial photosynthesis), and undertook an industrial placement year at AstraZeneca.
