We are from two different parts of Newcastle University - the School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics and the Faculty of Medical Sciences. We met in the Centre for Behaviour and Evolutionas we are all interested in that most human of behaviours, language, and how children's language development interacts with their general cognitive development. This project is funded through the Masters by Research in Evolution and Human Behaviour currently being studied by Martina Musovic. The project does not receive any external funding. We are working with the Centre for Life to promote the project and to promote linguistics in general.
