Research focus: Child development with a particular interest in child social-emotional development; international comparison of early child development; moderator effects of Early Child Care (ECC) on social disparities; the influences of child’s temperament and personality; influence of a changing social economic status
Ambitions for SEED: I am interested in the cross-cultural comparison of early child development in terms of developmental trajectories of children with migration background in different countries (UK, Germany, and Netherlands). I want to examine their holistic development including general cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
