Original qualifications: Diploma degree in Psychology 2009; PhD in Psychology 2016

Employment: Doctoral student at the Max-Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Science in Leipzig; Researcher at the University of Bamberg and the Leibniz Institute for Education Trajectories (LIfBi) in Bamberg; HEad of Research Unit Early Childhood and School Education at the Leibniz Institute for Education Trajectories (LIfBi).

Research focus: Competence development in infants and young children, spanning questions on the interaction between learning environment and competence development as well as their prognostic power for the educational careers of the children. Focus on social disparities, measures of mother-child interaction and early child development.

Ambitions for SEED: I am interested in the impact of social disparities on different aspects of child development (e.g. language, socio-emotional development), especially in the early years and in investigating the underlying mechanisms that determine children's development.
