Original qualifications: Diploma degree in Psychology 1993; PhD in Psychology in 2004 (on vocational interest development)
Employment: Researcher at the Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID) in Trier, Germany, and at the University of Bamberg, Germany; Executive Director of Research at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi)
Research focus: Survey methodology including field work in panel studies and data protection; vocational interest and competence development; research-policy interrelations
Ambitions for SEED: I am especially interested in analysing contextual factors that are related to the development of children and adolescents. This might help us to enable children and adolescents to unfold their potential.
