Dr Nikki Rousseau PhD
Nikki is an experienced health services researcher, with a particular interest in the application of mixed methods in health technology assessment. Her published work includes systematic reviews, qualitative interview studies, cross sectional and longitudinal surveys and randomised controlled trials.
Nikki is the Health Research Methogologist for NATTINA and has provided her expertise on grant applications and study design. Her other current research includes a successful collaboration with the ENT team at Newcastle Universities Hospital Trust for TUBE (http://www.nets.nihr.ac.uk/projects/hta/123532) and leads a qualitative work package on a successful NIHR i4i study.
Nikki is also a Research Advisor for the NIHR RDS NE, working with health professionals and academic staff wishing to apply for NIHR or other peer reviewed funding for health and social care research. She advises on study design and methods, possible funding sources and link applicants to other specialist support provided by the RDS (including statistics, health economics, clinical trials).
