Families can only take part in the study following referral  by clinical professionals working at one of the study sites. Clinicians at these sites will be asked to introduce the study to families who might be eligible for the study and will give potential families copies of the information sheets, and an Expression of Interest form which should be returned to the clinician or sent directly to the research team using the stamped address envelope provided.

Parents will be approached to take part in this study if they have a child (aged between 3 years to 9 years and 11 months) who has a diagnosis of autism or autism spectrum disorder.
