This booklet has been co-produced with North East Early Years Teachers, SENCOs, Teaching Assistants and Speech and Language Therapists. This booklet has been designed with the idea of being a North East Community of practice to support sharing of best practice for early language development.

Many schools will already be doing some of the things mentioned in the booklet, however, it is a place to find some new ideas that will help to support and develop children’s communication within the Early Years settings.
