Elaine is a Research Associate working on the bilingual part of the LIVELY project.

She worked as a paediatric Speech & Language Therapist in the NHS for 15 years before joining Newcastle University.  Her clinical interests are in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).  In 2005 She completed a Masters in Clinical Research.
