Allenheads Contemporary Arts We run a regular residential programme for first year students at ACA. Last May a group of six second years returned for the third time to ACA. This time they set up their own project making a proposal to ACA to undertake a week’s residency culminating in an exhibition. ACA is based in Allenheads, a small village in the Pennines in Northumberland. The student’s work developed
through contact with the local environment and residents. For their
final event (which was very busy) they worked
hard to attract and involve local residents and visitors from Newcastle. |
