Patrizia Onnis
Patrizia is an environmental scientist specialising in mineralogy and geochemistry. After her M.Sc. in Geology, she was awarded a Ph.D. at Liverpool John Moores University with the thesis “Nano- to catchment-scale investigations of metal transport processes in mining-impacted river systems”. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Exeter University, she is contributing to the NERC project “Legacy wastes in the coastal zone” developing sampling strategies and studying the waste contaminant release through geochemical and mineralogical analysis and modelling.
