David Hamilton

David is a consultant ENT, head, neck and thyroid surgeon at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.  His research focuses on patient centred decision making, informed consent and outcomes after cancer treatment.  Clinically he specialises in the treatment of head and neck cancer; a lot of his work centres on developing safe processes of care, reducing inequality and developing the roles of Allied Healthcare Professionals and trainee surgeons.
