Luis Miguel Madeira is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering - University of Porto (FEUP), and is the Director of Studies of the Integrated Master in Chemical Engineering. LM Madeira has published over 90 papers in international journals (h-index of 24, by January 2014), and has authored/co-authored over 100 communications in meeting and congresses. He has been teaching in different areas of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, particularly in subjects related with Reaction Engineering, Renewable Energy and particularly Chem. Eng. Laboratories. He has a considerable experience of participating in research and pedagogic projects, either as a principal or co-investigator.
