Safa Kutup Kurt received his bachelor degree in chemical engineering from Anadolu University, Turkey in 2009. During his bachelor education, he decided to join the Erasmus Exchange Program and thus studied at Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague in 2007-2008. In 2010, he started to study an international master program, i.e. Process Systems Engineering at TU Dortmund University. In 2013, he acquired his master degree after he had completed his master thesis with the subject of “Experimental characterization of a new virus inactivation method in antibody manufacturing” at the company of Invite GmbH, Leverkusen in collaboration with TU Dortmund University. Safa Kutup Kurt has been working as a PhD student at the Laboratory of Equipment Design in TU Dortmund University since August 2013. His research is mainly focusing on continuously operated milli/microstructured equipment design for liquid-liquid mass transfer processes.
