Helen Mohan is the Dukes Club Advanced Cancer Representative and represents trainees on the ACPGBI Advanced Malignancy Subcommittee. She is a past-President of the Association of Surgeons in Training. She is an ST8 General and Colorectal SpR in Ireland and will be commencing an advanced cancer colorectal fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer in Melbourne in 2021.

She is on the Editorial Advisory Board for the European Journal of Surgical Oncology(EJSO). She has a PhD in the pathophysiology of intestinal inflammation and cancer and is a co-founder of the Irish Surgical Research Collaborative. Her research interests include colorectal cancer and surgical education.
