Research
The Health Economics Group aims to produce world leading research in health economics by:
- improving the allocation of scarce health and social care resources
- developing and applying methods for economic evaluation
- tackling inequalities in access to care and health
- developing and applying better method to measure the benefits of health and social care
These goals are met by conducting research over three cross cutting areas:
- development and application of economic evaluation
- priority setting in health care
- econometric applications in studies of health, focused on income and health inequalities and unhealthy behaviours.
