Summer Research Scholarship for Undergraduate School

Three undergraduate MPharm students have secured Newcastle University Research Scholarships to allow them to work alongside Professor Sarah Slight, Dr. Nehal Hassan and Sarah Wilson on 6-to-8-week research projects this summer.

This scholarship scheme is a fantastic experience for students like Sophie Robson (3rd Year MPharm student, on the left) and Syed Muhammad Fitrus Ali (3rd Year medical student at Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia, in the middle) to carry out independent research with the support of more experienced researchers. Idean Zarandi (on the right) will also work on a research project this summer. This will build confidence and develops analytical skills.
