Dr Nikki Godden-Rasul

Nikki is a Lecturer in Law in the Law School at Newcastle University, UK. She holds a PhD and MJur in law from Durham University. Her research interests primarily lie in the fields of rape law and policy, restorative justice and sexual violence, tort law and gender, feminist legal theory, and criminal justice and gender. Nikki is a committee member of PECANS (Postgraduate and Early Career Academics Network of Scholars), an interdisciplinary network for early career researchers working in the field of law, gender and sexuality, and she edits and contributes to the weblog Inherently Human: Critical Perspectives on Law, Gender and Sexuality. Nikki has published, inter alia, in Feminist Legal Studies, Journal of Law and Society, and in the edited collection Feminist Perspectives on Tort Law. Previously, Nikki taught Tort Law at Durham University, and she continues to teach Tort at Newcastle University, in addition to Criminal Law and Law, Gender & Sexuality.
