My placement gave me an opportunity to develop valuable connections with faculty members, whilst exploring research techniques. I learned various techniques including Western Blots, H&E Staining and PCR; all of which I will use later in my career. Completely this placement has given me a massive head start for my dissertation as I feel more comfortable working in a laboratory.
