The biggest challenge encountered by individuals suffering from epilepsy is the epileptic seizures, which leads to potential injuries on their spinal cord when fall. This research hence aims to develop an electronic device that greatly reduces the possible risks resulted by not only epileptic but also common falls, and laying the groundwork for future epileptic supportive devices design. This proposed device consists of a personal portable airbag, which could be seamlessly integrated with clothes or wearable accessories, and will only be inflated to protect the crucial body parts when it senses fall from the wearer.
